Do I need a license to ride a SiFly eFoil?
In most places, no license is needed. However, some regions may require registration or restrict electric watercraft use. Always check your local regulations before riding.
Is SiFly eFoil suitable for beginners?
Yes! SiFly offers models specifically designed for beginners, like the SiFly Rider+, which are extremely stable and easy to learn on. Our boards come with beginner-friendly riding modes and gear limits.
How long does the battery last?
Depending on the model, rider weight, and riding style, the SiFly PowerCell offers up to 2 hours of ride time per charge. You can monitor battery stats in real-time via the mobile app and remote controller.
How fast can a SiFly eFoil go?
SiFly boards can reach speeds of up to 45 km/h (28 mph). Speed varies based on the board model, rider weight, and chosen wing setup.
How do I update the software?
Use the SiFly mobile app to check for firmware updates. Your board, battery, and remote can all be updated over WiFi.

How is the eFoil shipped?
SiFly eFoils are shipped in secure, multi-box packaging for safety. Packaging ensures full protection in transit.

What is covered under the warranty?
Within the EU
Board: 2 years
Battery: 2 years or 300 battery cycles (whichever comes first)
eFoil motor unit: 2 years or 300 hours of motor use
Wings, remote controller, and charger: 2 years
Note: Hydrofoils require servicing every 100 motor hours or 12 months — whichever comes first to maintain warranty validity.
