Our Story
SiFly was founded by Olympic Formula Kitefoil division athlete Alex Bachev, someone who’s spent years chasing every knot of speed, precision, and flow a foil can deliver.
Combining his physics degree from the Technical University of Munich with deep hydrofoil expertise, Alex built the first eFoil prototypes. Soon, a team of passionate engineers and designers joined him to bring his vision to life: a safe, intuitive, and high-performance electric hydrofoil.
Two years later, SiFly offers a full range of eFoils for all experience levels.
Today, SiFly is rapidly expanding globally, with over 130 locations and service points, including key hubs in the Middle East and the United States.
What sets SiFly apart from our primary competitors is our commitment to vertical integration that extends beyond the ordinary – we manufacture almost all our components in-house, including screws, bolts, electronics, batteries, masts, and more.
This exhaustive approach not only enhances efficiency, reduces costs, and ensures meticulous control throughout production and distribution but also positions SiFly as a leader in delivering products of unparalleled quality, precision, and technological advancement.
Our carbon boards are produced in partnership with the renowned Cobra factory in Thailand, which further reinforces our commitment to crafting premium eFoils.
We're in the process of implementing an in-house EPP Soft-top board production. This new approach will maximize the quality and efficiency of the product.
